Square one: Betweed

Square one at Facebook liked to see Betweed. I mixed this tangle with Mak-rah-mee and Tipple. Nice to do!

TEM

Tackle it Tuesday's challenge is to use tangles starting with T, E and M. I chose Trumpits, Euca and Mak-rah-mee. The picture is a bit dark, while the idea was to keep the tile light and airy. Oh well... ;-)

It's a String Thing #59

We were Tickled to Tangle with string line #059 and tangles Oke and Meringue. I just loved tangling these two beautiful patterns; thank you for the challenge, Adele!

Joey's weekly tangle challenge #27

This week, Joey asked us to use string 012 and the pattern Cayke, in honour of her daughter's birthday. She will be 12 tomorrow, many congratulations! For the occasion, I tried to use festive tangles.

Diva's weekly challenge #186

This week's Diva challenge is all about autumn and leafs. Colourful leafs preferably, but there's not many of them around the house. In our front garden we have a fig tree, which is quite remarkable: we don't live in some sunny mediterranean country: we live in the Netherlands where the weather can be cold and wet. Our fig tree doesn't seem to care: last year we really enjoyed eating the fruit. They're not ready to eat yet, so we will wait patiently.

For this challenge, I used a leaf that had fallen off the tree and tangled away :-)

Tackle it Tuesday - SEP

Artful Creations asked us to only use tangles that start with S, E and P.
I chose Skein, Etcher and PomX2.

It's a String Thing #58

Adele Bruno asked us to use string 058 in combination with a choice of 4 "G" tangles. And so I did ;-)

Gingham, Girdy, Gothic and Girlande

Diva's weekly challenge #185

This week, the Diva asked us to create a DuoTangle using ONLY the two tangles Phicops and DivaDance.

These are both new tangles to me, so I started practicing them. My first tile was OK, but I felt I wanted to make another one, since you can do so many different things with these tangles. I think Phicops is a bit harder to make, but the results are so beautiful.

Everybody who previously left a comment or does now: Thank you very much! I really appreciate it!

ING 2

ING is a great new tangle that it wanted to use more often, after I participated on the last Diva challenge.

So... here's my ING 2 ;-) combined with Quib.

Joey's weekly tangle challenge #25

Joey asked us to tangle about our Autumn feelings, using the pattern Leaflet. I decided to zoom in on that tangle and create an autumn reflection. It didn't really turn out the way I wanted, but I think it's OK.

Take a look at Joey's blog to see what other people made of this challenge!

"It's a String Thing" #57

Tickled To Tangle asked us to use string 056 and 4 patterns starting with D. I used Drupe (love it), Dust Bunny (I like the airy look of it) and Drip-Drop.

This was actually the first time I used an official Zentangle tile. Beautiful paper, allthough I still like the paper I normally use. I'll probably choose whatever feels good at that moment ;-)

Weekly Challenge #184: "New Official Tangle: ING by Molly"

Last week, a new pattern was presented by Zentangle HQ. It's called ING. I think it's lovely because you can make lot's of variations with it.

So for the Diva challenge, I decided to do a monotangle, play-ING ;-) around with the new pattern. Hope you like it too!

Joey's weekly tangle challenge #24

This week, Joey asked us to tangle a group of 5 overlapping circles. Nice challenge, Thank you Joey!

I had to think well about the composition, but I think it worked out OK.

It's a String Thing #56

For the challenge at Tickled to tangle we used string 57, a proper challenge to me with all these squares in it. I chose three tangle patterns that were new to me: Tagh, Telis and Trivet. I also used Twile, which I had done before and funnily enough that pattern worked out less well than the new ones. It looks sloppy... Apparently I wasn't zen enough at the time, but I think I was afterwards, so that worked for me in the end ;-)

Diva's weekly Challenge #183: "UMT - X-Did" by Annette Carlo

This week at I am the diva, we were challenged to make a tile using Annette Carlo's 'X-Did'. It's a lovely tangle that I will use more often! It is fun drawing and nice looking at afterwards.

For some reason I wanted to do Crossview as well (also new to me) and I'm not sure if this is the right combination to make. I filled up the blanks with parts of X-Did to connect the two tangles. In the end, I think the tile looks a bit busy, but OK.

Thanks for this great challenge again, Laura!

Tackle it Tuesday tangles starting with "Z"

We arrived at the last letter of the alphabet at Artful Creations. What will be our challenge next week? Surely something we all love. I'll try to think of some suggestions for the next round.

In my Zentangle Zoo I 'must' use Zedbra ;-) - and I love it! Beautiful pattern. I had to think of what to put next to it, and I'm quite pleased with Zinger, filling up the empty spaces.
